A handcrafted Thin Red Line wooden sword designed to honor the men and women who serve as first responders in our fire departments. This engraved custom Gladius sword can be personalized with name, rank, unit, department, dates or insignia, making it a commemorative gift for a firefighter's retirement.

The Rudis was a wooden sword fashioned after the Gladius, the Roman sword that a gladiator or soldier used. The Rudis was given to commemorate a faithful soldier on retirement from service.

This Gladius Rudis Sword is clear coated and made with the following materials:

Maple wood blade
Walnut pommel and cross guard
Genuine leather wrapped handle

Handmade in Caldwell, Idaho, USA.
